Hygiene, always
Sanitised tools, disposable applicators and a freshly cleaned kit for every single client. Non-negotiable, every time.
Meet the Artist
Eight years, five hundred brides, and one belief that has never changed: makeup should reveal you, not replace you.
My Story
I am Aisha Rizvi — a luxury bridal and event makeup artist based in New Jersey, working across NY and PA and travelling for destination weddings worldwide.
My training started at MAC Cosmetics, where I learned the discipline behind the glamour: colour theory, skin science, sanitation, and how a face behaves under professional light. What I brought with me was something the counter could not teach — an understanding of South Asian bridal traditions, of what a nikah look needs versus a mehndi look, of how a dupatta changes the whole balance of a face.
Eight years later, my work sits where three worlds meet: South Asian bridal artistry, editorial glam and high-fashion events. More than five hundred brides have sat in my chair. Not one of them left with the same face as the bride before her.
“Every bride deserves to feel like a masterpiece on her most important day.”
The Journey
From a MAC counter to a fully booked bridal calendar and a training academy — the short version of a long apprenticeship.
Professional certification and years on the counter — learning skin, undertone, product chemistry and the pace of working on real faces, all day, every day.
One nikah booking became a referral, which became a wedding season. South Asian bridal work quickly became the heart of the business.
Campaign shoots, model portfolios and pageant clients — including the artistry behind a Miss India USA Photogenic 2024 title.
A full bridal calendar across NJ, NY and PA, destination weddings, and a training programme for the next generation of artists.
How I Work
Sanitised tools, disposable applicators and a freshly cleaned kit for every single client. Non-negotiable, every time.
Foundation is mixed and tested on your jaw in natural light. No grey casts, no mismatched neck, no flashback in photos.
I arrive early, I give you an honest timeline, and I keep the rest of your party moving so nothing runs late.
If a look will not photograph well or will not survive your ceremony, I will tell you — and offer something better.
In the Chair
The Kit
Nothing goes into my kit until it has survived a full wedding day — heat, hugs, happy tears and a photographer’s flash.
Shade ranges are stocked deep — every skin tone is matched from the kit, never approximated.
